AMBALA: Barred for marrying the person of her choice, Rakhi on Monday finally joined her classmates after she was readmitted by the new in charge of Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Baldev Nagar.
Manjeet, the other girl, who too was barred by the principal would be rejoining on Tuesday, school sources said.
Enquiries revealed that amidst the mild protest by her family, who were pressuring the school authorities from barring her entry, Rakhi entered the school with her husband, Kumar Gaurav.

Sources said that she had applied for readmission while providing the valid reasons for her absence in December. Sources added that the school authorities had out rightly asked her parents not to interfere in the matter.
Red-faced parents have now decided to opt for black magic to separate the couple. With a smiling face, Rakhi was seen interacting with her peers.
"I can't express my joy. It is because of the support of my in-laws that I am here in the class. Now, I would be able to complete studies and settle in life," said Rakhi.
The two students, Rakhi and Manjeet Kaur, of Class 12 were barred by their school principal and class in charge from attending classes as they had eloped to marry the persons of their choice, against their parents' consent.
Talking to the The Times of India, the authorities confirmed Manjeet's plans of rejoining the school from Tuesday.
"We have already accepted the readmission form. She has started preparing for her semester exams," they said.
The school authorities had out rightly asked the girl's parents not to interfere in the matter.
